Red Barn Flea Market - Bradenton

The Red Barn Flea Market is a true local treasure. It is a great place to buy things, but it is more valuable for the opportunity it provides for individuals to do business and commerce. It has hundreds of small businesses.  Each business involves an individual or family member as a part of the local economy.  Even selling just a few hundred dollars can make a big difference in their family's lives. 

​​Some of the larger businesses today got their start in one of the stalls. Starting small allowed them with just a few dollars to start and learn to do business. With experience they then created a full time job and some even become employers.

We enjoy visiting and buying Florida raw honey, fresh vegetables, art, or other miscellaneous things for the home. The money we spend stays local instead of it being taken out of town as profits by a large corporation. Some people think the flea market is about products. I think it is mostly about people.  The Red Barn Flea Market changes lives and is an asset to the local community.
